Pajama Party Summer Camp

Teen Sewing camps are a workshop-based sewing space just for teens! We’ll focus on mastering basic sewing skills through group classes that feature fun, teen-friendly projects. Students can expect to leave class with a finished item, the skills and knowledge to begin sewing on their own, and to explore our more advanced class offerings.

Camp is a whole week long of intensive learning and sewing. Students will learn or have refresher of the basics of their machines. In this camp students will learn how to sew a pin cushion, sew a scrunchie, sew a pillowcase and sew a pair of pajama pants. They will learn skills such as how to work with a sewing pattern, taking proper measurements, making simple alterations to patterns, sewing stitches, hemming, using rulers & other sewing tools, and so much more. Bryanne is wonderful with her students and they will walk away with sewing confidence!

Meet the Maker: Bryanne Young

I am a curious and energetic garment sewist. I am interested equally in the practical strictures of design as I am the pull towards whimsy and creative self-expression. I believe that personal style is a fundamental form of voice, and that making clothes crafts a powerful link to the past, the future, and one another. Come sew with me!
