Repetition & Chance with Peg Giginoux (04/24+25+26)

Explore the creative possibilities of combining cloth with paper in this mixed media workshop. We will paint, print, layer and stitch! Create a dynamic work that relies on rhythm and repetition. Day One: we will begin at Peg’s Carrboro Studio altering a medley of papers, vintage maps and sheet music with a variety of mono printing exercises.  Day Two & Three will focus on building a color story that combines your papers with cloth. Build expressive surfaces and learn fun ways to join materials through machine stitching and layering.
